Air travel across the Caribbean is slowly returning to normal following a turbulent weekend marked by extensive airspace restrictions and widespread flight cancellations linked to a U.S. military operation in Venezuela.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a security advisory on Friday warning of a “potentially hazardous situation” in the Maiquetía Flight Information Region (FIR), designated as SVZM, which encompasses all Venezuelan airspace and portions of the Caribbean.
