On December 3rd, 2024, Icelandair reached a significant milestone in its history by delivering its first Airbus A321LR in Hamburg, Germany. This marks the airline’s official entry into the Airbus family and a significant step forward in its fleet renewal journey.

Icelandair and CDB Aviation have inked long-term lease agreements for two new Airbus A321LR aircraft to be delivered in the second half of 2025.

N4022J, otherwise known as JetBlue's First Airbus A321 Long Range with the Airspace Cabin, has been officially delivered to the airline this week.
