Over the past weeks, several airlines have suspended their flights to Ukraine due to tensions with Russia. And yesterday, February 23rd, civilian flights were restricted inside Ukraine due to the conflict with Russia. FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen/Missions) that essentially places all of Russian and Ukraine airspace off-limits to civic flights due to the tension in the region.

In the UK, Prime Minister Boris Johnson took the decision to ban Russian carrier Aeroflot from operating into the country.
 
The Russian carrier currently operates services to London Heathrow as well as the occasional charter flight for Manchester United during the Champions League. 
 
Manchester United has now since switched to Titan Airways as a result.
