LOT Polish Airlines Welcomes First Embraer E195-E2

LOT Polish Airlines has recently welcomed its first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, a significant milestone achieved in under three months since signing the lease deal with Azorra. The first of the three jets will soon arrive in Poland, with the entire fleet expected to be delivered by October. This strategic addition to LOT's fleet aims to enhance operational flexibility and support the airline's network expansion plans.

The Embraer E195-E2 stands out for its impressive sustainability features. It boasts a 12.5% reduction in fuel burn and emissions compared to its competitors, along with significantly lower noise levels. These advancements perfectly align with LOT's "Destination ECO" strategy, which focuses on integrating low-emission aircraft into their fleet to minimize environmental impact.

Michał Fijoł, President of LOT Polish Airlines, expressed his excitement about the new aircraft, highlighting their role in increasing flight frequencies to European destinations. He emphasized that the E195-E2 will offer passengers superior comfort, making it a valuable addition to the airline's fleet.

Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation welcomed LOT Polish Airlines as the 17th operator of the E2 series. He noted the rapid expansion of E2 operators over the past two years and praised the swift delivery of the jets. Meijer also underscored the E2's efficiency and low operational costs, contributing to its growing popularity among airlines.

LOT Polish Airlines shares a long-standing relationship with Embraer, the first operator of the original E-Jets, in 2004. The delivery of the E195-E2 marks another significant chapter in their successful partnership, reinforcing LOT's commitment to innovation and sustainability in aviation.
