With the relaxation of measures due to mass vaccination in the USA, U.S. airports have seen significant growth due to the high demand for travel during the summer.
Also, during the COVID-19 pandemic, LaGuardia airport had been undergoing major renovations with an investment of approximately $8 billion in the renovation of Terminal B. Terminal B was constructed in 1964 and had barely changed since then. The redevelopment of the terminal is considered to be the largest public-private partnership in U.S. aviation.
