The 2024 Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), one of the world’s most important aerospace events, ended on Friday (26). 286 commercial aircraft were ordered during the event, starkly contrasting the 1,266 orders recorded at the Paris Airshow 2023 and 441 at FIA 2022, as FlightGlobal and Flap International reported. Here’s a summary of the orders registered this year:

  • Defence Orders:

The substantial decrease in orders at this year's Farnborough Airshow indicates a more cautious outlook within the aerospace industry compared to previous years.
