A Humble Beginning
Rodrigo's ADS-B story started in 2020 with a Raspberry Pi and a genuine interest in contributing to the aviation community. He diligently fed data for two years until an unexpected lightning strike took out his equipment. Undeterred, Rodrigo returned to the skies, resuming his feeding endeavors at the beginning of 2024.
Reaching New Heights
Key to Rodrigo's success is the strategic placement of his antenna. Positioned on a 3-meter mast on the highest wall of his house, the antenna towers 8 meters above the ground.

This elevation ensures optimal signal reception, echoing the standard advice within the ADS-B community – antennas should be high, obstruction-free, and capable of capturing the full spectrum of signals.
Best Practices for Seamless Feeding
Rodrigo adheres to time-tested advice for maintaining an efficient ADS-B setup.
